Brian Walsh is one of my favorite tellers of world mythology, Celtic tradition, and international folktales.  He has a fine ear for the poetry and cadences of the old-time bards and shanachies.

We’ve been so fortunate to host Brian here at Curiosa for his Irish Storytelling evenings - intimate, candlelit gatherings rooted in folklore, myth, and old tales. Even before our space was ready, we knew this was an experience we wanted to offer, and Brian was the perfect storyteller to bring it to life! Over the past year and a half we've sold out every event, with guests leaving captivated, enchanted, and feeling like they’ve been part of something truly special. We look forward to many more nights of storytelling to come.

I run an online group of witches who work with moon phases and the four fire festivals as spiritual fuel and inspiration. I commissioned Brian for four stories related to each of the fire festivals, which he told live in a Zoom with me present. The live session was then offered as a replay to my students year after year as a supplement to their ongoing studies. Brian’s story telling perfectly accompanied a unit on pathworking through story and understanding our world through faery tales. I highly recommend Brian as a storyteller and lore keeper.
